What is this practice and how effective is it?
Dynamic resource management enables organizations to allocate resources to the best current opportunities. But few organizations operate this way. Most allocate capital during the budget round and allow business leaders to initiate many projects that have dubious merit in terms of adding value. We will examine how better organization design and information systems can help leaders to improve their capital management and support those business segments that warrant more capital and curtail or terminate those that don’t.
