Picasso was one of the most creative and innovative artists of the 20th century. His finesse, originality, and humor were unparalleled; the domains of his work encompassed sculpture, printing, pottery, collage, and even poetry and plays.

Picasso is known as a cubist. However, what did the genre of cubism actually mean to Picasso? In fact, Picasso had no interest in cubism. He just wanted to express pure human thoughts and emotions. Cubism developed as a result of him expressing his philosophy without the confinement of means and methods; the genre was not very important to him.
