So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Die Blockchain
Einführung
Die Blockchain-Datenstruktur ist eine geordnete, rückwärts verlinkte Liste von Blöcken mit Transaktionen. Die Blockchain kann als normale Textdatei oder als einfache Datenbank gespeichert werden. Der Bitcoin-Core-Client speichert die Blockchain-Metadaten in Googles LevelDB-Datenbank ab. Blöcke sind »rückwärts« verlinkt, d.h., sie verweisen auf den vorherigen Block in der Kette. Die Blockchain wird oft als vertikaler Stapel dargestellt, bei dem die Blöcke übereinanderliegen und der erste Block als Basis des Stapels dient. Dieses Aufeinanderstapeln von Blöcken führt zu Begriffen wie »Höhe« für die Distanz vom ersten Block oder »Top« für den jüngst hinzugefügten Block.
