When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Elimination of PoW
Proof of work may not be the best algorithm to secure a blockchain-based system. There are aspects of PoW that leave a lot to be desired. However, PoW is a good way to distribute a digital currency. Perhaps PoW will be replaced in the future by something different, but at this time we cannot say for certain what it will be.
Inefficiency of PoW
Proof of Work is really inefficient; it wastes a lot of electricity and computing power. However, it is inefficient by design. We do want competition between miners because that is precisely what makes the blockchain ledger secure. Miners keep other miners honest because they are all competing for the same block reward.
