23 Test Mode
Qualification tests are carried out on samples of a product. To ensure that the radio performance of real products meets the same standards as the samples used for regulatory and qualification testing, Bluetooth provides a test mode, which is used in production line testing.
Figure 23–1 shows the interfaces used by test mode. The unit under test is put into test mode by a local connection. The unit under test is controlled and configured using LMP commands from the tester.
