4 Baseband
4.1 Introduction
We begin this chapter by making some clear distinctions between the terms “Link Controller” and “Baseband” (see Figure 4–1). The Bluetooth specification uses these terms somewhat ambiguously, and a clear distinction will provide a useful handle on which to hang some later concepts.
