In Practice
To run this “In Practice” section, you need the following:
A client machine running JBuilder and the Borland Enterprise Server 5.0x.
A server machine running JDK 1.3.1 or better and the Borland Enterprise Server.
The machines must be accessible to each other on the network via TCP/IP.
The “In Practice” exercise is broken down into the following steps:

Set up the server application on the server machine.

Set up the server application on the client machine.

Debug the server application on the client machine.

The exercise uses the CORBA application developed in Chapter 25, “CORBA.” A copy of the solved CORBA application is placed in the Chapter 26 directory.
