2. Getting Started with TypePad
Choosing a TypePad plan (see Chapter 1) may be hard, but setting up your TypePad account couldn’t be much easier. It’s almost as though Six Apart wants people to sign up for its services!
In this chapter, I cover the process of signing up for a TypePad Pro account, because you’ll need the extra features for your blog, but keep in mind that you can cancel within 14 days and incur no charges or penalties.
If you decide that a Pro plan isn’t for you and cancel your account, your blog isn’t gone; it’s downgraded to a Micro-plan blog. Many of the Pro features, such as domain mapping, will no longer work.
