9. Designing Your Blog with Themes
The most important factor in your blog’s success is compelling content. Despite common wisdom, however, many people do judge a book by its cover—and that’s where your blog’s design comes in. In TypePad, blog design is controlled by themes, which dictate color scheme, how the content is laid out, and what information is displayed about you and your posts.
This chapter covers all three of the theme options available for TypePad blogs: stock themes, Theme Builder, and Advanced Templates. This chapter also shows you how to manage your themes after you’ve gathered a few of your own.
