I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Closing the Gap
Developing your leadership image doesn’t need to be an incredibly complicated process. Often, gaining the awareness of your current image and its limits goes a long way. If you realize you talk too fast when delivering bad news and are often viewed as nervous, for example, then you can make a conscious effort to take a breath, slow down, and remain calm.
To achieve your desired leadership image, you’ll want to use techniques to help you address content, as well as verbal and nonverbal behaviors, including the following:
