Summary

In this chapter, we looked at validating REST API parameters and payloads using Javax validation. We learned how to add JWT paste authentication to a REST service and decoded JSON Web Tokens manually. Finally, we talked about adding, logging, and metrics, and tracing using Jersey, MicroProfile, and other open source components.
