13. Making a Rover

The final type of drone you’re going to explore in the book is the rover, a car drone that drives around your backyard (or wherever) on missions of exploration and pet-scaring. The RFID-Navigating Nomad, shown in Figure 13.1, consists of a sturdy aluminum chassis equipped with motors, big knobby tires, and a plastic enclosure. Added on to this platform is a sensor package consisting of an RFID (radio frequency identification) sensor and an ultrasonic sensor.
