Chapter 7. Elements of Business Intelligence Solutions
In an earlier chapter, we discussed the numerous steps required for most data warehouse projects. No matter how the data was captured initially or what storage format was used, few data sources are constructed for use in BI. The typical enterprise has multiple data sources and archived information that may be required to put together the information needed for analysis. The steps typically look like those shown in Figure 7-1.
