Signal Integrity in CNT and GNR Interconnects
6.1 Introduction
In this chapter, we present a study on the crosstalk analysis in the carbon nanotube (CNT) and graphene nanoribbon (GNR) interconnect systems. Crosstalk problems are inevitable in any coupled interconnect system. Due to coupling capacitance between the adjacent interconnects, signal transition on a net in a coupled interconnect system affects the signals on the other nets. The crosstalk-affected net is termed as a victim net, and the nets that cause crosstalk on victim nets are termed as aggressor nets. Depending on the relative switching of victim and aggressor nets, the crosstalk has several impacts on the circuit performance, as illustrated in Table 6.1.
