Verifying EIGRP Redistribution

As shown earlier in Figure 10-5, redistribution takes routes from the routing table and places the correct information for those subnets into the redistributing router’s topology table. The redistributing router then advertises the routes from its topology table as it would for other routes. To verify that redistribution works, Example 10-5 shows the proof that RD1 indeed created entries in its EIGRP topology table for the five subnets in the OSPF domain.
