Chapter 3 discussed the activities of a change manager and at times alluded to how these are performed. This chapter goes into more detail about the methods and techniques that are at the disposal of the change manager, including the more prescriptive methods of operating the change management process, such as requests for change and the change advisory board. It also offers some softer, more subjective approaches to achieving objectives that are hard won through experience.
