It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I genuinely appreciate the valuable suggestions and advice from all my friends, colleagues, and readers, which helped me to develop this second edition. After completion of the first edition, I was lucky enough to have had opportunities to work on many different types of productions over the past five years. This provided me with the resources to cover the subjects I wanted to for this second edition.
As an instructor, I have been working with theatre costume design students for many years. I know how students become frustrated when drawing human figures, and I understand their needs. I feel like I have a responsibility to write this book in order to help students who have trouble drawing, and I hope that this book will greatly help ...
