About the Authors

Henry Sanderson has been a reporter for Bloomberg News since April 2010. Prior to that, he was a correspondent for the Associated Press in Beijing and worked at Dow Jones Newswires in New York. While at Bloomberg, he has covered corporate finance, focusing on the bond market, China’s banks, and the emergence of the yuan as an international currency. Before that he covered China for the AP, reporting on the Olympics, Chinese politics, as well as the country’s environmental problems. He is a graduate of Leeds University (with bachelor’s degrees in Chinese and English literature) and Columbia University in New York (with a master’s degree in East Asian studies).
