Chapter 9. Using Multilevel Administration

By regulating the privileges of a selected group of users and limiting the configuration functions that users can perform, multilevel administration (MLA) provides multiple levels of security to Cisco CallManager Administration and Cisco CallManager Serviceability. MLA provides these levels of security through the use of functional groups and user groups.

MLA provides security by limiting access to specific pages in CallManager Administration and CallManager Serviceability based on login credentials. To learn how to protect those login credentials from being stolen or improperly accessed, read Chapter 6.
