Verifying Routing is Enabled
Like OSPF, EIGRP uses three tables to match its three major blocks of logic: a neighbor table, a topology table, and the IPv4 routing table. But before EIGRP even attempts to build these tables, IOS must connect the configuration logic to its local interfaces. Once enabled on an interface, a router can then start to build its three tables.
