EIGRP Neighbor Troubleshooting Example
Example 11-8 shows three problems that can cause EIGRP routers to fail to become neighbors. This example uses the usual design for this chapter, as repeated in Figure 11-5. The figure shows the same routers, and same interfaces, but with the following problems:
R2 has been configured with IP address 10.1.2.2/24 in a different subnet than R1, R3, and R4.
R3 has been configured to use ASN 199 with the router eigrp 199 command instead of ASN 99, as used on the other three routers.
