Appendix J. Tool Command Language (TCL) Reference
Cisco IOS Software supports the Tool Command Language (Tcl) for writing scripts within the IOS command-line interface (CLI). Scripts are a helpful way to automate tasks, verify configurations, and troubleshoot problems. Cisco IOS Software also has Tcl subsystems for their Embedded Syslog Manager (ESM) and Interactive Voice Response (IVR).
