A
access control list (ACL) A set of rules based on IP addresses that is used to permit or deny network traffic passing through network devices.
access point (AP) A network device used with wireless networks that transmits and receives wireless signals from wireless-enabled endpoints.
AireOS The operating system in use on many Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.
Anycast An addressing protocol that allows for the same IP address to exist on multiple physical devices, providing for more efficient and redundant network reachability.
