This chapter covers the following topics:
Control Plane Operations: This section covers the Overlay Management Protocol (OMP) and how the three routing updates (TLOC, OMP route, and service routes) build the control plane.
Data Plane Operations: This section covers how the data plane is established and secured, along with how network address translation (NAT) interacts with overlay provisioning.
