Most companies are adopting or willing to adopt AI. McKinsey says AI adoption is reaching 72% of organizations,1 with marketing and sales, product development, and IT departments being the top adopters. But what are the key elements behind this AI adoption? Are there any factors guiding these organizations’ ability to leverage AI technologies? Is there a quantitative and qualitative way to measure their maturity?
The Five Pillars of AI Readiness Success
Here is where AI readiness comes into play. AI readiness refers to the ability of a company to successfully adopt and deploy AI technologies while making good use of them. To understand the areas of work for a company to be successful with AI, you can find the five key success pillars in Figure 2-1.2
