Chris Binnie is a technical consultant who has worked with critical Linux systems over a period of almost two-and-a-half decades. He has worked on banking and government server estates, on-premise and in the cloud. In addition to building an autonomous system network in 2005 and serving live HD video to 77 countries via a media streaming platform, which he architected and built on AWS in 2012, he has written two Linux books and written for Linux magazine and ADMIN magazine for a number of years. He has five years of experience in DevOps security consultancy roles and thrives on the challenge of explaining the complex in a clear and concise manner. Outside of work, Chris enjoys extolling the virtues of the unerring Ockham's razor.
