Types of Cloud Solution Architect Roles
In Chapter 1, Understanding the Responsibilities of a Cloud Solution Architect, we discovered what the role of a CSA entails and how the role has evolved. Through this learning, we came to understand that there are different areas of specialization to consider. Within each area of expertise, there are some overlaps of responsibilities, but each has a unique domain and set of concerns to focus on.
Because of the number of cloud providers services, products, and configuration options, CSAs tend to gravitate toward areas of expertise; it is not uncommon to see a CSA with a specific discipline preceding the title of Cloud Solution Architect.
