A Four-Phase Evolutionary Assessment
Abstract
There are many different ways to calculate IT's maturity level, but any approach that doesn't take into account the three drivers first described in Chapter 4—technology, process, and organization—is likely to fail. In this chapter, we take a closer look at this critical triangle of influence, in which levers for improvement often require artful combinations of technology, process, and organizational readiness rather than a narrow focus on just one single factor.
