D.1. Purpose
The primary purpose of this project was to examine whether Six Sigma, when used in combination with another process improvement technology or technologies, makes the transition[1] of that technology more effective. While we were interested first in the transition of SEI technologies, what we learned also applies to non-SEI technologies, non-process technologies, and to Six Sigma users in general.
