Chapter 3. Laptops
The Laptops domain covers approximately 11 percent of the A+ 220-801 exam. You’ll need to have a good understanding of laptop hardware components, including basics of hardware installation and replacement. Laptops have unique components that you won’t find in regular desktop computers, and you’ll be expected to know what these are. It’s especially important to understand the different types of displays used with laptops and some of the common components included within laptop displays. Lastly, this objective expects you to understand some common laptop features, such as the special function keys found on the keyboards.
