18.3 Problems
Life is full of all kinds of problems. There are problems for which it is easy to develop and implement computer solutions. There are problems for which we can implement computer solutions, but we wouldn’t get the results in our lifetime. There are problems for which we can develop and implement computer solutions, provided we have enough computer resources. There are problems for which we can prove there are no solutions. Before we can look at these categories of problems, we must introduce a way of comparing algorithms.
