So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The first time I came across contract testing was at a healthcare startup by the CTO Eike Dawid and then later at a large, more established online retailer with the backing from Neil Syrett, did I explore it in more detail. But it wasn’t until I read one of Marie’s blog posts on how to implement contract testing in a really simple, easy to follow way that I fully understood contract testing. Therefore, when Marie approached me to collaborate on a book about contract testing, I jumped at the chance. I knew that Marie would not only bring a great writing style that readers love but also bring her extensive experience in her testing career to deliver a book with great real-life examples.
