It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 7. Lines and Curves
CorelDraw 9 offers three tools for drawing lines and curves: the Freehand, Bézier, and Artistic Media Tools. You can find them on the Curve fly-out (Figure 1).

Of the three, the Freehand Tool is the most straightforward because it works like a pencil on paper. As you drag the Freehand Tool, it creates curves and lines, mirroring the motions of the mouse.
The Bézier Tool draws on a node-by-node basis. As you learned in the last chapter, nodes control the curve of the line segment that passes through them. With the Bézier Tool you can draw smooth, accurate curves node-by-node. With each click of ...
