In this chapter, we’re going to take an in-depth look at the process of creating a game level. In order to illustrate the workflow, we’ll use an example from Tater’s world by building his training trash yard as shown in Fig. 4.1.

This chapter will build upon the information from the previous two chapters to provide a complete insight into the process of creating 3D content for the iDevices. We’ll begin by taking a look at level design and covering some fundamental principles, and then, we’ll move onto to the actual process of creating and texturing the level.
