Chapter 3. Motion Paths
As the name indicates, a motion path is the path along which an object moves as part of an animation. Motion paths provide the direction, the shape, and the speed (acceleration) of the object’s movement. InDesign provides a wealth of preset motion paths — more than enough to enhance almost all your documents with just a simple click.
However, you will almost always want to modify the motion paths on the page. In this chapter, you will learn how to apply motion paths, how to make simple changes to paths, how to use the Pen tool to make more complex changes, and how to “trick” InDesign into creating even more sophisticated effects.
