You probably know that the concept of design patterns became popular with the Gang of Four’s famous book Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software (Addison-Wesley, 1994). The book was published at the end of 1994, and it primarily focused on C++. Many of these patterns are the basis of today’s programming world. So, it’s unsurprising that it stays on Amazon’s bestseller list.
On the other hand, C# had its first major release (C# 2.0) in 2005. Since then, it has become rich with new features and is now a popular programming language. I also wrote several books on design patterns using C# and Java. Then why did I write this book?
