I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Shotgun Squiggle
Time limit: 3 minutes
Ever heard of a shotgun wedding? It usually involves adult beverages and a late night trip to Las Vegas. Well, this is the Creative Boot Camp’s version called ‘shotgun squiggling.’ It won’t need signed paperwork, either.
You’ll need 10 index cards for the exercise. Using your off hand (if you’re right handed, use your left hand. If you’re left handed, use your right), create a simple squiggle on the card. Once you’ve completed the squiggle, transfer the card to your right hand and make something out of that squiggle. You can turn the card in any direction to get your inspiration but you only have 15 seconds ...
