The Problem with Creativity

The word creativity suffers from a range of unhelpfully broad meanings. In popular culture it has come to mean an unwieldy mixture of ideas that include inventive pursuits, aspirational feelings, and problem-solving methods. Within the university setting, each field tends to understand creativity within their own paradigms of language and assessment and for their own objectives.
