AbstractThe rapid increase in the global population has resulted in an estimated increase of 70% in agricultural production by 2050 to meet the ever-increasing demands of people. To develop cost-effective agricultural solutions, 90% intensification of technological farming is required for achieving agricultural inputs and market demands. Today, the agricultural sector is affected by various factors like increased labor costs, increased population, crop failures, unpredictable yields, extreme weather, climate change, market fluctuations, etc. All these factors have directly or indirectly affected the socioeconomic status of farmers. With such a large number of challenges and increasing demands there is a need to implement an artificial intelligence-based approach for developing smart farming environment for the real-time monitoring and management of agricultural issues. According to a UN report, two-thirds of the world population will migrate to urban areas, resulting in a major decline in the agricultural workforce.
