It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In the final section of this book, we take a look at some of the most recent changes and trends in the data engineering space. We review the emergence of new open table formats, such as Apache Iceberg, that bring traditional data warehouse type functionality to data lakes. We explore the move from traditional data lake implementations to a data mesh approach, and take an overall look at how to use AWS to build a modern data platform with a DataOps approach.
