So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Securing Data
This chapter focuses on governing and securing data at the data model level and the individual data elements within a data model. It covers considerations across the entire Tableau platform, from Tableau Desktop to managing data on Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud including the information architecture that is exposed through projects.
Some of the content in this chapter will cover items that are outside the typical scope of someone responsible for creating data models. We’ll cover these topics while adding users and groups and setting project security since they are fundamental for understanding access and authorization to our data models and the data contained in them.
