Introduction
This chapter explains the graphical techniques that have been applied as problem-solving tools in quality improvement. These graphs and charts are helpful in detecting and solving quality problems. In this chapter we discuss the quality tools. These are commonly known as the seven basic tools of quality. These graphical tools come under information visualization. We provide examples and specific situations in which these graphical techniques are used in detecting and solving quality problems.
