Using Live View
Live view has been around long enough that it’s becoming old hat for some, but it was really just a precursor to one of the 5D Mark IV’s real killer features—full HD video shooting. SNL’s Alex Buono shoots the opening montages of Saturday Night Live using Canon cameras, so you can see that movie shooting with the 5D Mark IV has a lot of potential. We’ll look at movie shooting in Chapter 16, but first it may be useful to learn about live view.
