16 Capturing Video

Shooting movies on the spur of the moment is easy, because you can capture movies with your R10 even if you are currently using one of the camera’s still shooting modes, including Scene Intelligent Auto, Creative Filters, Scene Modes, and the Manual, Aperture-priority, Shutter-priority, Flexible-priority, and Program Auto semi-auto modes. If you decide to capture some video, you don’t need to rotate the mode dial to the Movie position. All you need to do is press the Movie button (located on top of the camera at the one o’clock position in relation to the mode dial, and marked with a red dot). To stop shooting, press the button again. That’s all there is to it.
