I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
2Your Camera Roadmap
The official manuals for the a7C II and a7CR are available only as online HTML “Web Manuals,” which you can also download as PDF files. Sony calls these documents “Help Guides,” which many take to mean that the average user needs a lot of help to use them. They’re 500-plus pages long and include page upon page of tiny black-and-white drawings impaled with dozens of callouts. No less than nine pages are devoted just to labeling the 250-plus individual icons that can appear in the viewfinder and LCD monitor screen. Seeking information about a specific feature is a lot like being presented with a world globe when what you really want is to locate the capital of Brazil.
