12.1 Introduction
Today, the Internet of Things (IoT) is an important part of the current system, and it is the fastest-growing technology. Using the IoT, the number of cities can be expanded to include smart cities, automation in industrial settings, agriculture, and healthcare. IoT is a network that uses different network gadgets, such as sensors, software, and other technologies. It also allows data collection, sharing, and analysis of data. From wearables and smart thermostats to more complicated systems, including agricultural sensors and medical equipment—these types of gadgets are used every day in households [1]. IoT is a new paradigm in computing that seems to have the capacity to enhance impact in smart city implementation [2]. All over the world, IoT is accepted, and it not only unlocks great opportunities but also introduces important sensitivity.
