Before we get started with deep learning and discuss how we can use neural networks, we need to understand what a neural network is. In particular, we need to understand the most basic unit of the neural network, the perceptron. A perceptron is the elementary unit of a neural network and is modeled in a very similar manner to a neuron found in the human brain.
