The RIBA Plan of Work has historically ended with the conclusion of the Building Contract – the In Use stage of a building is making its appearance for the first time in the RIBA Plan of Work 2013. A core aim of the RIBA Plan of Work 2013 is to facilitate the capturing of high-quality data for use during Stage 7. New services will evolve around this data – in particular, it will increasingly be harnessed to inform the briefing stages of future projects, connecting Stage 7 to Stage 0.
