Introduction – Why narrative inquiry?
Narratives and stories are becoming important for gathering data in organisational research due to what Alvesson and Kärreman (2000) call the ‘linguistic turn’ in inquiries into organisational practices. Czarniawska adds that narratives help us to ‘enter into a dialogical relationship with organisational practice’ (1997, p. 17).
