Architecture is the art of designing and building. It encompasses the entire process: from conceptualization and planning to sketching, design and execution, resulting in buildings or other physical structures. True architecture transforms ideas into reality, while striking a balance between creativity and practical constraints such as budgets, contractors, material shortage, and regulations.
Interestingly, this concept extends beyond the physical world into the design of digital systems. Much like how a physical blueprint shapes the construction of a building, digital architectures provide the foundation for structuring and organizing software and information systems. Although built with code instead of concrete, these systems follow the same key principles: planning, design, implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
